Krista Vosberg, MS, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has been providing individual, family, couples and group therapy since 2005. Krista graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2002 with a degree in Community Counseling and a minor in Child and Family Studies. She completed graduate training at St. Cloud State University in 2005, earning a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling. Krista worked for three years at a residential treatment program for high risk adolescents, followed by 15 years at a private counseling agency in Sartell, MN. Krista has experience working with adolescents and adults who are facing a wide range of mental health issues including: anger, anxiety, child/teen behavior issues, couples/relationship problems, depression, family conflict, life transitions, parenting struggles, grief and loss, separation or divorce, sexual issues, and trauma. Krista is trained in EMDR. Krista focuses on helping individuals, couples and families process past trauma and problem-solve ways to move through hurt and increase positive emotions and relationships.
In addition to practicing therapy, Krista is an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Approved Supervisor. She provides supervision and consultation for therapists who are working toward obtaining licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and to individuals who work in the counseling field who would like to receive additional training regarding systems theory and providing services to families and couples. Krista is also approved by the Board of Behavioral Health to provide supervision to individuals working toward obtaining licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
When not at work, Krista enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, riding her bike, walking her dog and spending weekends at the cabin.
